The aformentioned Vaan is awful, Luneth from Final Fantasy 3 is incredibly bland and about as bad, and God forbid the idiot player character in Diablo. (involves the end, so I'm not telling!) It may just be a lack of understanding or something else I'm forgetting, but it's still stupid.
