Guilty Gear is really fun
Just don't start getting into Isuka, the four player version, that thing becomes a mess.
For the Guilty Gear XX games, there was XX, then Reload, then Slash, then Accent Core, then Accent Core Plus, I believe. I think each one has just been balance changes and gets better as you go along, so the most recent one is probably most balanced? Just jumping into any of those can't be bad though, they're all pretty similar for the most part.
