Kazin had 22 out of 23 HP at the time. Yeah, that hurt. He'll be replaced by Tyrin (Karna's the better tactical choice, but she's boring and overpowered, and this is a challenge playthrough =).</p>
Wow, that's a tragic way for Kazin to go.
And I fully agree with taking Tyrin, especially with Kazin gone. Tyrin is a much better Wizard anyway. And since I prefer Wizards to Sorcerers (and promoting Kazin to Wizard or Tyrin to Sorcerer is silly), Tyrin's the man!
Chaz and Taya suck. Pre-promoted characters in SFII are just so lame.
And you're right. Karna is so overpowered that it would take away a lot of the challenge.
