I think I would have enjoyed it more if I stopped freaking out about every single decision and trying to think of ways I could possibly be screwed over by. Also I can't say I'm a huge fan of morality being tied to conversation options. The biggest draw for the series when I first heard about it was that it was more open-ended and flexible with your decisions but since you pretty much "had to" stick with one path, I still felt a little forced into some of the decisions because I was worrying about if I could pass the checks or not.

Mass Effect 3 is a lot better about this since it takes your total amount of reputation into account, but I was able to play ME1 and ME2 as a mixture of Paragon and Renegade. In ME1 I missed out on the final option with Saren, but no big deal. In ME2 I was able to make all of the decisions I wanted to (including passing the two loyalty checks), thanks to the perk that increases your Paragon/Renegade points. That helps a LOT. Paragade forever.

Samara - I ended up killing her so I can't really comment. >_> I didn't really want to though...

Did you need to pass Paragon/Renegade checks for this one? I can't remember, but I didn't think you had to.
