I hesitate mainly because it's a fighting game. With stuff like MvC and SFxT, they're working with characters that already have more than enough established to make unique movesets. They have to stretch on like... Phoenix Wright. And that's only one character. That'd happen a lot more with Disney characters, and I dunno if I trust them to not be lazy and for the game to suffer because of it.
Good point, but all new series have to start somewhere. If we're currently in what's being referred to as the rejuvenation of the fighting genre, I'd like to think that fans can welcome an entirely new series (up until now, sequels - and nothing but - have fueled this rejuvenation). I'd love to see Capcom take a gamble on something like this than to release another sequel with only a half-dozen new characters introduced.
