The deal only made sense if someone were so indifferent about the remaining characters. That they've lost just about every character they were supporting. Doc and I were targeting that niche market. I can only say for myself, if virtually all of my Top 20 were wiped out, and I had no one left to support, I would jump at the opportunity. Otherwise, I'd just be either an agent of chaos or not bother with saving. Who knows?
Glad no one took us up on the offer in hindsight, hehe.
