I really can't even remember her being on any of the "Disney Princess" stuff. Its always Belle, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, and now Rapunzel.
She wasn't originally one of the princesses in the franchise, but was added later with Pocahontas, Tiana, and Rapunzel.

Feminists might have something to say about that!
Besides, I don't get why Mulan got princess treatment despite clearly not being one.
