Ah so this is primarily a quality of animation thing, as i notice all of those are OVAs and movies, I agree that that makes it more awesome, but I also seem to recall they arent your favorite gundams either.
I happen to find the more simple plots of those series more appealing too. F91 and 0083 being two of my favorites on any scale. Plus F91 gave us the name Seabook, and we cant go wrong with that.
I don't consider them top of the line Gundam shows, but they are pretty much 10/10 compared to 90% of the crap that I watch these days.
And yea I've sorta been obsessed with animation quality. That's the reason why I tend to stay away from long shows.
