Though it is weird seeing Will Smith in his 40's act like Will Smith in his 20's.

while playing a character in his 40s. >_>

I don't think the movie was anything really special but overall I enjoyed it. What didn't you like about it?

What I didn't like *spoilers*:

Well, like I said Will Smith playing a character in his 40's acting like he did in his 20's. Jemaine Clement being under-utilized and not played up to his strengths (maybe he just doesn't work as a villain). The fact that the plot twist was revealed way too early for it's own good. Also, and this is more a criticism of MiB2, but Agent K should have stayed "retired." He had a really great moment in the first movie and it was undone in the second one. His exact words were "I'm training my replacement." Now they're not only partners, but they knew each other from years ago? I know MiB doesn't take it's canon too seriously but this still bothers me. His relationship with O seems really forced considering in MiB1 he was obsessed with his old flame. Also, O and K's relationship doesn't get enough time in the film to really be worthwhile. Lack of Rip Torn made me sad. They also didn't take advantage of Smith's "fish out of water" aspect in the 60's.

What I did like:

Griffin was probably my favorite tertiary character in the series. Boris, while disappointing, wasn't nearly as lame as the villains of MIB2. Also, I'm glad to see those annoying aliens from the first two films being marginalized and no Frank the Pug. More focus on the K/J relationship. Brolin does a solid job playing both Tommy Lee Jones and a relatively different character. There's a couple good one liners and unlike the previous film it feels a lot less corny. While I said previously that I think they missed out on "Will Smith in the 60's." to their credit they avoided too much corny 60's jokes. Also, the whole "Andy Warhol is an MiB agent and not another alien" was a nice little twist.
