In my experience its actually rather hard to even beat computers in Smash with the WiiChuck.

Yeah, if you're not keeping up with the news and living in Dreamland...kinda hard to get hyped up for anything like that.


There's a reason why Nintendo's stock plummeted when that thing was unveiled. Dropped something like 9% that day.

I find the WiiChuck garbage to be the worst controller I've ever used, and seeing that.... Tablet thing killed my Wii U interest. I regret getting a Wii, it has too many games that are marred by being forced to use that terrible contraption.

That said at least Brawl allows use of the GC controller.

Again, not keeping up with the news here. You are entirely unaware of the fact that it got redesigned, aren't you? Be honest, Blade.



I'd like legit proof of this first, of which I believe there is none. I expected to not like the Wiimote, I just didn't expect to hate it so much.

The Wii duped me though, as I was under the impression that a majority of its games weren't locked into that garbage.

Just having a legit controller wouldn't be enough for me this time without confirmed significant changes to the pad, which I don't see happening.

Go google 'Wii U controller pictures'. If you look closely you'll notice such astonishing facts as the circle pads being replaced with analogs, for instance. I can get you the picture if you're feeling super lazy, though it's going to make you look like a fool, so consider yourself warned.


And is any of it at all confirmed by Nintendo yet?

Because nothing else matters, although it still wouldn't be enough.

I just want the gimmicks gone and for them to remove all semblance of forced motion control like almost every Wii game has. If only Galaxy could use a real controller, I might not absolutely hate it. As long as they stick with gimmicks, I won't be fooled again.

On a side note I am seriously considering a PS2. I have a PSX and getting duped on the Wii made me jump off the Nintendo bandwagon.

Yes, they confirmed the redesign. Seriously, this attitude ticks me off. 'Oh yes, it's going to be terrible, based on my preconceptions of it and the fact that I haven't kept up with the news since Day 1!'. Yes, if you decide to hate something blindly you'll find it terrible regardless of any good parts it might have, no matter how good it is. This isn't surprising.

And no, the good PS2 games are mostly still cheap I think.
