It's Touhou all right. Does absolutely nothing to set itself apart from any of the others I've heard, remix or otherwise.
Personally I like this one because it's basically optimism in song form. In a good way. It's got this jaunty "I can take on the whole world" vibe to it. The original is nice but nothing special; the remix transforms it into something uplifting and triumphant.
Dunno why I'm saying all this, except that I'm listening to it again and getting all happy. Probably my second favorite VG remix.
