Anyway, wanted to talk about the circus at White Heart Lane right now.
I am reading a lot of stuff in the media about how Redknapp cost himself the job because of the poor finishes to this season and last season, and by lapping up the attention he was getting for potentially taking Capello's spot as England manager and I just have to ask one thing. What manager have that lot had that got them consistently top 3-5 positions in the last 10 years? How many times did Jol do it, once? Harry actually got them CL. Harry had them nearly beating out Arsenal. Harry had them BEATING Arsenal in League matches. As far as I'm concerned he deserved a new contract. And now that he's gone, they're probably going to lose the likes of Modric and maybe even Bale. Bringing in Moyes? Tell me when the last time any of his teams started a season well was?
I don't feel bad at all, because watching them toil in mid-table hell again will bring much joy to me, but it's just like—what the f*** was Levy's expectation for that side? To beat Arsenal every single year? To top Chelsea and co. every year? Get f***ing real. What lunacy. Sp*rs as an organization are an absolute mess.
