Looks like Stratus isn't the guy I was looking for. It's a guy who looks like Masakage and goes by Shoun in the game with a mark over the o. Stratus was a yellow chubby guy.
Edit: Found him. He goes by Jouun on Serebii.
Oh, whoops. I was thinking of Soun. Stupid similar Japanese names.
But Serebii does have a few other mistakes. For instance, Takatane links with Shinx, not Axew, Akizane links with Pichu, not Blitzle, and I think he has Kazuma and Kazumasa mixed up. Kazumasa is the skinny tactical guy with Shieldon, not the ninja that links with Axew. Lots of Axew mistakes. >_>
