I wouldn't be surprised if it was over SFxT, I have no idea how the 1/8 Auto Block gem got past him with how picky he is.
From what it looks like SFxT is going to cause another Capcom fighter dark age.
Seth doesn't have a say in game design, I'm pretty sure, and if he does it's absolutely minimal.
Frankly I think he just got sick of having to pay lip service to policies he didn't necessarily agree with. Hell, I remember back when UMvC3 came out he was the one that had to deal with the brunt of the Mega Man BS, and SFxT probably din't do him any favors.
Yeah, it's most likely this. Can't imagine putting up with all the crap he's gone through. Remember when all the new characters got leaked for UMvC3? Dude looked extremely angry about it, put had to put on a face to satisfy the company image. Same thing with numerous other perceived mistakes of Capcom: Megaman, SFxT, UMvC3... just non-stop complaints and p.r. spin.
