I think my biggest problem with Zea's story is that Regaro easily could have done the killings instead of Maria and we would have no way of knowing. Every other bit of the story could be true, but if Regaro did the killings and we vote for Maria instead, we are screwed.
What would I gain by lying about it? Wouldn't there be a chance I die by RNG as well if that were the chase?
