But how can the average user care about a random poll on GameFAQs? How could ANYONE care about that? Now obviously, people who obsess over the contests are weird, but that pales in comparison to what is apparently people who obsess over poll of the day. It's just insane to me.
Seconding this. I don't particularly care about the contests. But at the same time, I can't imagine caring enough about the PotD to object to contests on that basis.
