I've always liked Cinderella. I also agree the supporting cast outshines the leads, but the leads themselves are not bad considering the age they come from. And none of the classic princesses really set a very good example for young girls. All of them are damsels that need to be rescued by a dashing prince and then they live happily ever after. That's an important concept to "Disney magic" I know, but only if it were really that simple. The more recent films at least paint the characters in a bit less of a conveniently simple light.
If you haven't watched Cinderella 3, I would strongly suggest it. Surprisingly enough, it is one of the best sequels Disney has done. It does a lot of the things the original doesn't cover due to its age.
