I'm pretty confident Maria took the explosives, though since I never left my room that night I have no evidence. But the explosives seem to have been used within the freezer only. Furthermore the freezer door was probably shut at the time since the kitchen wasn't destroyed. That's evidence for the theory that Maria and/or Reg used the explosives to try to blow out the door. So this isn't something you need to theorize about.
Besides, a fair number of people took explosives, I think. I know I still have mine. You should have some too.

Is there? Can you point me to it? My own theory is that Luis dropped one of the explosives as a trap in the freezer, got killed by Reg and Maria, they took his remaining explosive and went to the freezer to prepare the explosive to explode, and the first explosive killed them.
They weren't killed by an explosive, so that theory is not possible.
