So long as an ending makes sense, I couldn't give a f*** if it is happy, sad, or ambiguous.
Totally your opposite here. Well not totally, but... close enough. I'd like my ending to make sense, don't get me wrong, but if it's thematically and emotionally inappropriate to what came before it, that's what's going to get me the most.
