It was a demo that you had to pay cash for. How is that an indicator of how many people are going to buy your game? At best, it only measures how big your obsessive and ravenous fanbase is.
It wasn't really a demo in the normal sense, though. It was its own game, more or less, kinda like what they did with Dead Rising having Case 0 and Case West. It was a "prologue," more or less, with a different character that lead up to what MML3 would be.
