OK, so this is something interesting.

I apparently did not watch an episode of season 1. Episode 19 to be exact.

Which was actually a pretty important episode, to be honest. It explains:

A) Why Suzaku knows Kallen's loyalty to the Black Knights
B) Why Euphy knew the real identity of Zero
C) That Lelouch Geassed Suzaku to live

Now, see, the biggest thing about C was that when I watched episodes going forward, it always felt that it was simply implied that Suzaku was Geassed, never actually shown. And I spent quite a few episodes wondering why they never outright showed what happened. It changes my perspective on a couple things. During episode 20, when Suzaku's eyes flash red, that was the first hint of Suzaku being Geassed. And I kinda liked it that way. It felt like it was going to be a slow reveal, with obvious implications of what actually happened, but only fully revealed at the most opportune moment.

Also, it's strange now that Kallen and Suzaku spend a large part of the episode interacting about how each one is wrong, yet when they're at school Suzaku says he's going to let things go and try to convince her peacefully. Before hand, I simply believed that when Kallen runs out trying to stop Suzaku from getting himself and Lelouch killed, Suzaku overheard what Kallen said, and there was no real time for interaction. Hence, any dialogue at school was the first time they spoke privately since the incident. I think I liked not knowing the spent an entire episode yelling at each other first, but oh well.

Euphy/Lelouch wasn't as important, though it explains why she speaks about Zero as Lelouch. Of course, I always assumed she knew it was Lelouch from the hotel, but I guess it makes much more sense for her to be so certain of it after actually seeing his face.

It also introduced stuff like the Thought Elevator and a brief glimpse of V2.

So yeah, this episode changed my view on a few events, though the overall story doesn't change much.
