I mained Hakumen in Calamity Trigger. He was hard to use then. He got harder to use in CS, but he was buffed to the point where he was a lot better if you could manage to play him. Then he got nerfed in CS2, so now he's harder to use than in CS and you don't get nearly as much payoff for it.
People still using him are confirmed masochists.
