Well, I'll be living with the guy who gets dumped. The girl who's dumping him lives with two girls that I hang out with all the time. Once it happens, it really won't be the same ever again. They will have taken their side, and I will have taken mine.
And to further clarify why I'm bummed about this, we are a small group of ~8 people who stayed in town after we graduated from college. All our other friends went off to seek out other pursuits. The fact that the group is essentially being split in half just...sucks.
