Does TR Meowth even have a pokéball? I know Ash's Pikachu has one that it refuses to go into, but does TR Meowth even have a legit pokéball? If TR never officially caught him and he's just traveling with them of his own free will then he's up for grabs if I understand correctly. That said, even if he is capturable that attempt is bound to fail.
Still though, it's awesome enough that Iris even tried and how has no other main character ever thought to attempt that ever what the hell?
