No, I have owned TP for 6 years and never played past the forest temple. On my first attempt I couldn't beat the forest temple, then a couple months later I tried a second time, where I finally beat the temple and got to the town with the spiders or something but my power went out, deleting like 5 hours of progress. Edit: Maybe not literally 6 years, I don't even know if the game has been out that long, but I owned it a long time
this is one reason i stopped playing MM for so long.. I had like 4 power outages total. I had to restart the game completely twice as well for switching platforms.
