Power fist *must* be maxed first imo.

You will not often be able to use more than 1 hook in a fight early game because your fights will be short exchanges that mostly consist of them attempting to not be hooked. Having a 14 sec CD instead of 20 second CD doesn't do a bit of good when the fight only lasts 9 seconds.

But getting your power fist to a 4 second cooldown? Now that is a pretty big deal. When possible you want to initiate with run in and power fist. A knock up is a disable as surely as any other is. Yeah they can flash to safety, but then their flash is down for 210 seconds which gives you 206 seconds to land another power fist. Not to mention the fact that when they flash they will still be in range of a hook which should still be up. And with your movespeed from W you can be assured of landing the next power fist assuming your ally is doing anything useful at all. Because make no mistake blitz is meant to set other people up for kills. You wont normally expect to chase someone down and kill them all by yourself, but the ability to run into a lane with that kind of speed and set up a fight/gank on your own terms is huge. And being able to get a 2nd fist off after 4 seconds is more important than a 2nd hook that you shouldn't need anyways.

I see what you're saying in terms of the CD. So I need to be more patient with my grabs instead of always trying to go for the lucky grab. But when it comes to mid-game teamfights with both teams just kind of waving their dicks at each other in the middle of the map, having a shorter CD on the grab means I can have more chances to make that lucky grab. But relying on luck is usually a bad idea (see: dodge). I know that.

As for Blitz being a set-up for others, I agree 100%. I cringe when I get kills on Blitz, because he really doesn't need them. I usually get an early Tear, then level 1 boots, then build tanky depending on who's the most threatening on the other team. Glacial Shroud or Catalyst is usually pretty early for me.

I also used to think (but I might need to test this now, since I just never really gave it that much thought before) that maxing W early was important, for shorter CD and increased speed. I guess maxing W second would still be fine, and I'll just leave that 1 point in Q until all I have left is to level up my Q (so go R>E>W>Q). I definitely should try some games out, especially since I'm trying a new rune set-up for Blitz and Galio (trying flat armor/MR marks, because I'm not trying to maximize my damage for either of those champs).
