See I take Nasus because he's the safer push. You send one person to fight Nasus and you better bring a body bag. You can send one person and absolutely stop Sivir. Plus Nasus can over extend and not have to waste summoner spells to escape.
You're playing Sivir wrong, or you think Sivir is way weaker than she actually is. You will not defeat pusher Siv alone unless you got fed thirty kills because her Q nukes for 800 damage and each of her autos hits like a truck.
