Ivy - She stopped aging because Namco feared having a 49 year old woman in its game, but now wears more clothing than ever before, but still looks like a dominatrix. Don't know what to think about that one.
Hilde - Okay, so three new characters get introduced in SCIV. One is a lying rogue whom people liked, one is a boring superpowerful boss who was actually not superpowerful and had terrible AI, and the other is a boring no one whom no one really noticed (correct me if I'm wrong, but I recall a cool reception).
Maxi - Fine. Every fighting game series needs a Bruce Lee clone, we may as well keep ours and not introduce a new one.
Mitsurgui - Good move, aging him.
Siegfried - Good move, aging him.
Nightmare - Good move, everything makes sense.
Tira - Seems to have not aged, but it doesn't bother me because it's not like they could introduce a new character who uses her style
Voldo - Do you ever wonder where characters get their costumes? Is there a tailor somewhere in sixteenth century Italy who specializes in crotch guards that look like spiders?
Leixia - Daughter of Xianghua, fine with me. I wonder if Kilik is the father.
Natsu - Female ninja, disciple of Taki, sure, I guess.
Patroklos and Pyrrha - Son and daughter of Sophitia, fine. Pyrrha's design is a little boring, but I can go with it.
Zwei - A sword with three handles. A sword with three handles.
I'm sure Cervantes and Zasalamel will show up as well. The real question is who "won" SCV.
