I know it's not a huge deal because he wouldn't get far, but I think Death is more important than a good 25% of the characters on this list, but nobody ever counts him.
Death like... bestower of the Hallows? But he's only relevant in the last book and may not even exist in Rowling's universe according to Dumbledore. =\
