I agree with Harmonica and Liquid Wind on the FFVII spinoffs. With every prequel, sequel, sidestory, etc. the original story becomes more watered down and it becomes less special.
I disagree. Crisis Core was pretty engaging, and even though people knew what was going to happen at the end of the game, it was still very moving.
Besides, it actually turns Sephiroth into a real character.
