What games/goals would you choose for such a challenge? I'd say restrict it to only one game from a given series (preferably genre), so don't make it all three Smash games or anything.
NES: Super Mario Bros 3, Versus (skipping some of the play modes as they're random)
SNES: Super Mario Kart, Versus
N64: Goldeneye
GC: SSBM
Wii: I uhh...one game per genre you say? I dunno...like...Guitar Hero? (Lifting that restriction, Brawl, or like...Tetris Attack VC if we can cheat like that).
For the most part, this is just a list of my most-played multiplayer mode on each system (except the Wii, where Brawl is disqualified by Melee).
