18. I'm Not That Girl (Reprise) (Glinda)

This one ranks low for a similar reason to Finale, in that I don't really care as much for hearing the same song I've already heard once before, especially when it's included as a unique song on the soundtrack. And to make matters worst for the reprise, it's less than a minute long. This means that they actually had to decide that not only was this song vital enough to include a second time on the soundtrack, but it was also vital enough at only 50 seconds to include. The other reason I don't particularly care for this song is the fact that it's Glinda singing it. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Glinda as a character (much) in the show, but when Elphaba sings this song, it actually feels realistic, like it suits her character. With Glinda, YES she's heartbroken that the man she loves doesn't love her and loves her best friend instead, but at the same time, Glinda's been built up as this self-absorbed, bubbly ditz through the entire show, and having her suddenly singing a song about how she's depressed, which Elphaba did better...it just doesn't do it for me.
