And I guess that "we're gonna stop doing decompressed stories" thing Didio was talking about went out the window already. This s*** just feels so written-for-the-trade. That kind of thing you fly by in five minutes without much in the way of plot, interesting character development, or clever ideas.
He never said anything about decompression, he just said writers didn't have to write for trades if they didn't want to. That storyline could go on for 3 issues, or 12 issues even.
Decompression is just what Johns does.
And I'd be a liar if I didn't say JL is the book I'm least interested in out of the 3 he's doing!
