Ocarina of Time is very fairly rated because the game is godly. FF7 has been hated on for being "overrated" for so long that the game is now underrated.
Ocarina of Time, godly? It certainly did not feel that way to me last time I played it.
For me the Zelda series has not really proven itself to me beyond A Link to the Past and The Wind Waker. Ocarina of Time has not aged all that well, Majora's Mask's fun factor gets lost a little in the time system, and Twilight Princess was almost there for me but it did not feel phenomenal enough. And I swear, the Zelda fanbase is the worst in existence (either Zelda drones, or even worse - the people who say that everything in the series after MM sucks, which is false, false, false to no end).
