I haven't played enough Pokemon to really judge because I didn't care enough to continue after I beat Blue. I keep playing Zelda games, thinking I'm eventually going to "get it," and I never do. I've never really had the urge to pick up another Pokemon game to see if I "get it" because I already know it's not really for me.
But there is Pokemon Snap out there to redeem it a tad!
