If we were talking about "most overrated series," then that would get my vote.
Mine too. And I'm not sure what could possibly dethrone it. Let's list some possibilities:
Super Smash Bros. - Melee is the only game in the series that I consider myself to be a "big fan" of, but this series has a 100% success rate in creating awesome games as far as I am concerned.
Call of Duty - Huh? Most critics and gamers do not really care for anything in this series aside from Call of Duty 4. Does not sound like "most overrated series" material to me.
Grand Theft Auto - This series has been fading and now seems more like something people could have nostalgic memories for. Again, does not sound like "most overrated series" material.
Halo - Jackpot! But then again, is any game in this franchise aside from Halo 1 and Halo 3 really held in high regard? Oh wait, Reach. I can see this being another "Zelda-like" franchise for me where what everyone considers to be the best in the series becomes something I find overrated.
