Mario RPG has charm out the wazoo, just like all the other Mario RPGs do.
But the fact that this was an SNES RPG shows in the quality of its writing when you replay it nowadays though.
Some say that Super Mario RPG is the best Mario RPG. Some say that it's like an Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, or Super Smash Bros. Melee which has lost any amount of its appeal due to future games in its series. While I can't really comment, I just felt like blurting this out.
