OK MY MINI REVIEW after playing the demo.
POSITIVES
-Fun mix of platforming and SHOOTING POW POW
-Great sense of humor in the tutorials and game over screen, and when you level up.
-Already some cool little extra touches to the platforming, like the huge bubble that slows you down.
-Great Art Style, and obviously there is more than one, the sketchbook one was the only other one I got so far, and I thought it was quite good looking too.
-Crazy addicting RPG elements, you can unlock more characters to play and art styles, and you can level up those characters. awesome addition that I didn't expect at all.
-Great music so far
NEGATIVES
-Early on platforming can be a little tricky, it's more sensitive than most games imo.
-As much as I love the art, it can be a little distracting, one time I died and really wasn't sure why, I didn't see the enemy/trap that did it. I think it was one of those spikes from the ground.
-NO CHECKPOINTS ;_; i'm a puss ok.
overall, for 240 MSP, pretty easy purchase. 400 MSP would have also been a no brainer. if this was on XBLA being sold for 800 MSP, I might want a little longer demo to gauge it out, but yeah, no reason not to check this one out.
