Awright, time to recap the first half of session one. Here we goooooooooo

SESSION ONE:

Sburbopolis began with compulsive gambler Dumey Gambit, engaged in an enthralling conversation with one of his chums. After getting off the conversation, Dumey requested the aid of a mysterious entity, known as the meta-metagame abstraction. Impressing the abstraction by rolling a lucky seven with two six-sided dice, Dumey learned that he and several other players were meant to play SBURB, a thrilling new game coming out of its beta phase. He began to install it but put it on the backburner, deciding to explore his apartment first. He then stole one of his Old Buddy's medals, and set out to explore his apartment.

ZENO, the chum Dumey had been talking to, had been busy debating the pros and cons of playing Mega Man 1 up to that point, before dismissing the game as a load of bull****. After the conversation, he availed himself of several gadgets and went out to his underground lab's playground. There he found a depowered, but activatable robot, and restored its functions. The robot was unable to speak, so ZENO decided to try and restore its functions using his technical know-how.

Around the same time, a particularly poorly handled attempt at naming a young girl produced a localized temporal rollback. The girl, Aria Sinclaire, re-lived the previous day before finally receiving a name. Said day included finding her parrot, Morrigan, and cooking some amazing spiced lobsters, which she used to bribe the owl parrot, Snowblind, into letting her take her Sburb copy.

Far, far away, teenage wrestler Paul Quebec struggled against his grandfather, Crusher "The Crusher" Quebec in a no-holds barred wrestling match. Both fought dirty, but Crusher emerged victorious, warning Paul to continue training if he ever hoped to beat him. Paul received a Pesterchum call, but opted to ignore it.

Warren Heneke, however, persevered and managed to hold a conversation with Paul. He then snuck out of his room and went out for a ride with his newly named loyal steed, Hidalgo. He was intercepted by his sister and her horse, Black Star. He evaded her at first, but was eventually caught and his Client copy of Sburb was taken from him.

Lastly, Zach Waller fought a fierce battle with a group of annoying birds. Channeling the spirit of Ryu Hayabusa, birds were no threat to him, and he left a wake of nonlethally massacred birds in his wake. He then availed himself of his own Sburb copy, and wondered what to do with it.

And that was that! It was a pretty hectic and long session, but I'm happy with the way things turned out. We had our fair share of badassery, funny jokes, and weirdness. Below is the session log, for those interested in the whole thing. It includes at least one pretty fun joke and several music tracks, so it might be worth a read!

In time this little thing will grow to absolutely colossal sizes, so I am going to add markers to it. In spite of the chaos, never fear, there is some method to my madness!
