3DS won't come close to the DS' lifetime sales. Different time period, different market, different expectations. That said, they just got f***ing Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter; even if I don't care about those games, there's definitely a market for those franchises. As much as I love the spectacle of 3DS' disastrous launch and ensuring panic, I'm sure it'll be fine(but not "Nintendo DS" fine).
