I wouldn't say I was worried about the final. I didn't particularly care once Arcanine wasn't in it. Still didn't want 'Zard to win though. So it's like yay, the most overrated pokémon ever didn't win, but neither did my favorite so boo.

Ah, fair enough.
Even still, like Cloud Strife and Final Fantasy VII, I feel like Charizard's place is relatively well-earned.
Ninetales is in my top five though so I'm still pretty satisfied.
