this is late-series pokemon, right? get outta town with this junk. the only pokemon who have shown any discernible strength are from the original games, there's no reason to waste a nomination, or even worse, a bracket spot, on something that will fail spectacularly. unless someone can make a rivalry involving tanner.

Ryu/Ken will definitely get in over Ryu/Akuma. It's one of the suggestions Bacon uses as an example of a friendly rivalry, so I figure people will use it.
I hadn't looked at the nomination page. By virtue of that, though, there is no need for me to use a nomination on it!
