You're confusing stories. The only time Super Sonic fought Master Mogul was when he was also with Hyper Knuckles and Turbo Tails, and Mogul was only defeated then due to a bunch of divine intervention and deus ex machina. When Master Mogul makes a second appearance, he's a ton more powerful due to an imbalance in the Chaos Force - this is the time he's able to crush entire universes with his hands - and Super Sonic never fights him.
Doomsday Zone never happened in the comic, but he did fight the Biolizard briefly in the SA2 adaptation as Super Sonic, so he can breathe in space.
Problem is, it doesn't matter. Nothing Super Sonic can do is going to make a dent in Buu at all. Buu requires an attack powerful enough to destroy him down to the molecular level - when Buu himself blows up Earth, he's able to regenerate from that pretty quickly. Super Sonic attacks the same way regular Sonic does, via spindashes and melee strikes and such. We have no speed feats for Super Sonic other than "faster than regular Sonic," who himself has very minimal and inconsistent speed feats. SS's "positive aura" doesn't mean a thing if he can't land a decent blow on Buu.
Buu takes it easily.
If it causes Buu to split however, it does mean something. I'd totally take Mr. Buu + Super Sonic over Evil Buu myself.
