Since Sonic will likely be listed as "Sonic the Hedgehog" in the contest, it's important to use "Sonic the Hedgehog" instead of just "Sonic". Let's say Mario/Bowser ends up with 500 total noms. If Mario/Sonic got 300 noms and Mario/Sonic the Hedgehog got another 300 noms, than Mario/Sonic would fail to make it into the bracket because too many users were split on how they should have nominated Sonic. Of course, Mario/Sonic would also have to beat out Sonic/Knuckles and Sonic/Robotnik in total noms as well.
I think a new topic should be made that contains an urgent message telling everyone to nominate Mario/Sonic as "Mario/Sonic the Hedgehog".
Ehhh, I wouldn't get too worked up about it. I'll make sure SB knows to check for both versions of Sonic before making the bracket official.
Still, if you put him in as just "Sonic", switching to "Sonic the Hedgehog" WOULD be nice, just to be sure.
