In sum, several hundred of the protesters were arrested for disrupting the flow of Brooklyn-bound traffic for 3 hours. It appears that the NYPD, however, led protesters into the lane of traffic themselves, then surrounded them with orange police netting, flexcuffed them, and put them on buses - buses that were already waiting.
