I remember the first time I really acquainted myself with the sacrifice bunt was in some MLB game for the Gamecube, where the game was so broken that you could literally always score runs via bunt. I would get someone on first base, steal second, and then bunt them home. It worked every single time, so that if I was ever in a close game it was my default victory approach.
So for a while after playing that game I was confused why every team didn't bunt when a player got on base. >.>
