It depends. If they're uber crazy about politics, than its off putting, but if they enjoy a stimulating conversation about current events and political going-ons, its pretty fun.
I agree. Apolitical conversations are the best but once someone gets overly passionate on either end of the spectrum, it's an awkward night.
