Akali's been very strong for a long time and the reason isn't gunblade. (imo she isn't OP, she just works better in this meta) Gunblade DOES need a nerf for dominion, but my feeling is that making the life leech/spellvamp unique is plenty (the problem is gunblade stacking is ridiculously effective for the cost b/c of the vamp. If that weren't the case, it'd be fine as-is). Hybrid characters are just going to be stronger overall in dominion because of the double pen. You can't really deal with it without removing the base penetration.
