The original DotA was never really that huge. Warcraft 3 wasn't even that huge and DotA was basically a subset of that.
I'd say that LoL now is bigger now than WC3 ever was, personally.
You do realize WC3 sold a ton of copies right.
I mean you might be right but WC3 was a big deal.
