i was about to say christian probably wouldn't win the rumble because bryan is presumably locked in as the WHC challenger, but i think it would actually make more sense for a smackdown guy to win so DB's cash-in makes it a triple threat. it makes no sense strategically but i think bryan has made it clear that having a title match at wrestlemania means more to him than actually winning the title. plus, i'm really not buying the idea that wwe is ready to pull the trigger on him in a one-on-one match at WM for the title.

i think this scenario makes the most sense:

- christian wins the rumble, challenges orton in the opening match. christian wins.

- after the main event (cena/rock i suppose, which probably ends in tomfoolery), bryan comes out and announces that he is cashing in his MITB on christian. christian comes out and they have a completely fair match which bryan wins clean in the center of the ring.

that way, bryan ensures himself the main event at WM, gets a fair match (which fits his character, especially since he isn't using the MITB the way everybody else has), doesn't shoehorn himself into a triple threat where he can lose without losing, and we get an awesome technical match. it also closes the book on christian getting his one last match against orton and commences his complete breakdown (winning the title at WM and losing it later that night).
